Soleo Health Strengthens Limited Distribution Drug Capabilities

Soleo Health recently announced the appointment of Elizabeth Feldman to the newly created role of vice president business development, industry relations. In this position, Feldman will be responsible for forging and maintaining relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers to coincide with Soleo Health’s expertise and focus on caring for complex specialty patients with rare and ultra-rare diseases.

Feldman brings more than 15 years of experience working directly with pharmaceutical manufacturers to commercialize newly launched products across multiple specialty distribution channels to her new role. Feldman was vice president, specialty distribution for Two Labs Pharma Services.

In this capacity, she guided various emerging specialty pharmaceutical manufacturers in the efficient launch of their products while also developing channel strategies throughout the commercialization process.

Feldman’s appointment directly relates to the leadership role Soleo Health has established in the specialty pharmaceutical limited drug distribution arena, based on the capabilities of its innovative and proprietary clinical outcomes program, SoleMetrics®.

Soleo Health is one of two tier-one Immunoglobulin (IG) Therapy preferred providers for AscellaHealth, a national specialty pharmacy benefit manager (SPBM), serving commercial, Medicare and Medicaid segments. AscellaHealth, with more than one million covered lives nationwide, manages care for thousands of members with immunodeficiencies and autoimmune disorders.

AscellaHealth chose Soleo Health as a tier-one preferred provider based on the complex specialty pharmacy company’s vast clinical expertise in the IG area and its SoleMetrics capabilities. SoleMetrics has the distinct ability to gather IG-therapeutic-specific data to demonstrate clinical and economic value to AscellaHealth as well as its providers and members. By compiling and providing detailed outcomes data of AscellaHealth members under Soleo Health’s care, the two organizations will be well-positioned to enhance patient care management and reduce costs.

On July 1, 2020, Soleo Health also became one of four exclusive providers for AscellaHealth in the care and management of its hemophilia members.
